Since the founding of REFISHED in 2012, a deep vision has guided us:
not only to create bags, but to give something back to the place where so many of our products are made with love — in Cambodia.
The Mango Tree School was born from exactly this vision.
Not from a business plan, but from a long-held wish of the heart.

What has already begun to grow 🌱
To start the project, we first promised teacher Rithy our financial support in the form of a regular salary, so that he could leave his main job and return to his hometown — the birthplace of the Mango Tree School — which he did in October 2025.
📚 Classes:
Classes are already taking place regularly in a provisional school hut. What matters most right now is simple — yet powerful:
the children can learn again.
Regularly. Safely. With continuity.
The school hut has been carefully prepared.

At the moment, it’s not about speed, but about stability.
With our own funds and the donations we receive, our top priority is securing ongoing classes — while step by step gathering the larger resources needed to build a proper school building.
