✨ A Library for the Future
Our Support for the Children in Koh Kong
In December 2024, something wonderful began to take shape in Cambodia's Koh Kong Province: a new library for children at the Kong Cha Primary School.
The school in Dong Peng village serves more than 131 students with only five dedicated teachers. Until now, resources have been limited, but the dream of a small library became a reality thanks to the hard work of the community and the generosity of supporters like you.
The project is already over 80 percent complete, but there is still a lot to do. The library needs learning materials, books, and final furnishings to become an inviting place where children can truly learn, discover, and grow.
This is where our Tepy came in, the daughter of our production manager Sophan (and our "Charity Angel"). She went shopping, focused on the children's needs, and brought everything directly to them. The children were overjoyed when they received the materials – you could see it in their smiles and shining eyes.
Together with the "Youth of Education" team, we donated to support the construction and provide resources for the library.
And this is just the beginning: With further support, this project can become a true center of knowledge for these children.
For us, this is more than just a donation. It is about:
• Creating a better learning environment for children,
• Encouraging them to read and grow,
• Giving them the tools for a brighter future.
Every little step counts. And with open hearts, we can already see how education changes children's lives, one library, one book, and one opportunity at a time.
From all of us at REFISHED: Thank you for being part of this journey. Together, we are helping to create a future full of possibilities.
Would you like to make a difference too? Donations made through our shop currently go to our flagship project, the Mango Tree School in Cambodia.
