Our support for the children in Koh Kong
In December 2024, something wonderful began to take shape in the province of Koh Kong, Cambodia: a new library for children at Kong Cha Primary School.
The school in the village of Dong Peng, with only five dedicated teachers, cares for more than 131 students. Until now, resources had been limited — but the dream of a small library has become a reality, thanks to the hard work of the community and the generosity of supporters like you.
The project is already more than 80 percent complete, but there is still work to be done. The library needs learning materials, books, and final furnishings to become a welcoming place where children can truly learn, explore, and grow.
This is where our Tepy came in — the daughter of our production manager, Sophan (and our very own “charity angel”). She went shopping, keeping the children’s needs in mind, and delivered everything directly to them. The children were overjoyed when they received the materials — you could see it in their smiles and shining eyes.
Together with the Youth of Education team, we donated to support the construction and provide resources for the library.
And this is just the beginning: with further support, this project can become a true center of knowledge for these children.
For us, this is more than just a donation. It’s about:
• Creating a better learning environment for children,
• Encouraging them to read and grow,
• Giving them the tools for a brighter future.
Every small step counts. And with open hearts, we can already see how education is changing children’s lives — one library, one book, and one opportunity at a time.
