Protecting your personal data is a matter of particular importance to us. We therefore process your data exclusively on the basis of legal provisions (GDPR, TKG 2003). In this privacy policy, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing in the context of our website.

Contact us

If you contact us using the form on the website or via e-mail, the data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the purpose of processing your inquiry and in the event of follow-up questions. We will not share this data without your consent.

Data storage

Please note that for the purpose of a simpler purchasing process and for later contract processing, the web shop operator will store the IP data of the connection holder in the form of cookies, as well as the buyer's name, address, telephone number, and, in the case of card payment, the credit card number.

Furthermore, the following data is also stored by us for the purpose of contract processing: e-mail address. The data provided by you is required for the fulfillment of the contract or for the implementation of pre-contractual measures. Without this data, we cannot conclude the contract with you. Data is not transmitted to third parties, with the exception of the transmission of credit card data to the processing banking institutions/payment service providers for the purpose of debiting the purchase price, to the shipping company commissioned by us for the delivery of the goods, as well as to our tax advisor for the fulfillment of our tax obligations.

After the purchasing process is aborted, the data stored by us will be deleted. In the event of a contract conclusion, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored until the expiry of the tax retention period (7 years). In addition, the data concerning name, address, e-mail, purchased goods, and date of purchase will be stored until the expiration of product liability (10 years). Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 96 (3) TKG as well as Art 6 (1) lit a (consent) and/or lit b (necessary for the fulfillment of the contract) of the GDPR.

Cookies

Our website uses so-called cookies. These are small text files that are placed on your device with the help of the browser. They do not cause any damage.

We use cookies to make our offer user-friendly. Some cookies remain stored on your device until you delete them. They enable us to recognize your browser on your next visit.

Web analysis

Your IP address is recorded but immediately pseudonymized [e.g., by deleting the last 8 bits]. This allows only a rough localization.

Data processing is carried out on the basis of the legal provisions of Section 96 (3) TKG as well as Art 6 (1) lit a (consent) and/or f (legitimate interest) of the GDPR.

Our concern in the sense of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is the improvement of our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users is important to us, user data is pseudonymized.

Newsletter

You have the possibility to subscribe to our newsletter via our website. For this, we require your e-mail address and your declaration that you agree to receive the newsletter.

In order to provide you with targeted information, we also collect and process voluntarily provided information on areas of interest, birthday, postal code, etc.

As soon as you have signed up for the newsletter, we will send you a confirmation e-mail with a link to confirm your registration.

You can cancel your subscription to the newsletter at any time. Please send your cancellation to the following e-mail address: office@refished.com. We will subsequently delete your data related to the newsletter dispatch immediately. This revocation does not affect the legality of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until the revocation.

Your rights

In principle, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation, and objection regarding your data stored by us.
